Île de France
Fontainebleau
A marvellous journey in the footsteps of history, that's what we're proposing!
As you sail along, you'll have the chance to discover our exceptional historic sites and the most famous forest in France.
Just an hour's drive from Paris, the famous imperial town of Fontainebleau is the third most visited site in France.
There's a good reason for this. The Château de Fontainebleau is one of France's must-see sites. This magnificent monument was nothing less than a home to kings and emperors. It boasts over 1,500 rooms. Napoleon Bonaparte declared it to be "the true home of kings, the house of centuries".
This place deserves a visit worthy of its status: from the air!
Moret sur Loing, medieval royal residence and gateway to the Kingdom of Burgundy, whose ramparts, majestic stone bridge spanning the Loing and dungeon where Nicolas Fouquet was locked up on the evening of his arrest by King Louis XIV at Vaux le Vicomte, will hold no more secrets for you!
Why go far from Paris when so many wonders are only an hour away? Follow in the footsteps of the famous painters of the early 20th century. You can go from the Fontainebleau forest and its fabulous treasures to the Yonne valley, meander along the meandering Seine, skim the course of the Loing, a valley dear to Sisley and our Impressionist painters...
As for the great age-old trees of the Fontainebleau forest, they inspired great artists such as Camille Corot, Théodore Rousseau and other painters of the Barbizon school.
From the hot-air balloon, you'll also fly over some magnificent ponds, a former sand excavation, a large part of which has been converted into a nature reserve where numerous animal species congregate. Let yourself be charmed by the many landscapes and wildlife of this sublime region that so pleased the Kings of France: welcome aboard!
